Quentin Mitchell|2024 NFL draft order: Top 24 first-round selections set after wild-card playoffs

The Quentin Mitchellorder for the first round of the 2024 NFL draft became slightly clearer following the events of Super Wild Card Weekend.

Playoff defeats and the finality of the season is particularly painful for playoff teams, but for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles, it's likely even more disheartening. Each squad enjoyed title contender status for much of the season, only to have those Super Bowl hopes crushed during the opening week of the postseason. Now, those teams are forced to turn their attention to the offseason — with their first-round draft positions now set in stone.

The draft order is determined by record and uses strength of schedule as a tiebreaker (record and strength of schedule are official tiebreakers to determine the draft order). The final eight first-round spots will be determined by upcoming playoff results. Teams that lost this past weekend occupy spots Nos. 19-24.

The 2024 NFL draft is scheduled to be held in Detroit from April 25-27.
